This two-part series is actually a kind of mini overview of historical trains from the &Ouml;BB, the Austrian railways. Several historic trains were filmed, not only steam trains but also diesel trains. For example, a steam locomotive from the Baureihe 52 steams can be seen and 'the 'Blaue Blitz', a beautiful diesel train set that indeed has a blue color.
The videos were made at the 'Schweinbarther Kreuz', a railway junction near Gro&szlig;-Schweinbarth in the Austrian province of Lower Austria. The series includes drone footages, so that is even more pure train pleasure!

<li style="font-weight: bold;">Schweinbarther Kreuz in planned and nostalgic operation: -Interesting routes in the Weinviertel with a decidedly nostalgic flair. -The railcar 5047 is on the rails and was scheduled as was the "Blaue Blitz" and the 2050.09 were also in passenger train service and PmG (passenger train with goods transport) on the routes around Gro&szlig; Schweinbarth in Lower Austria.</li>

<li style="font-weight: bold;">At the Schweinbarther Kreuz, the 2143.070 and the diesel car 5042.14 meet in combination with the old platform cars, as they used to be.</li>
